DQ200 Pressure Accumulator And Pump Faults

DQ200 pressure accumulator and pump faults can cause frequent pump operation, warnings and no drive. Diagnosis should assess the whole pressure system.

The DQ200 0AM/0CW mechatronic uses an electric pump and pressure storage system to operate clutches and selectors. Pressure loss can cause the pump to run frequently and eventually trigger emergency operation.

Common Symptoms

  • Pump runs repeatedly
  • Flashing PRNDS
  • No Drive or Reverse
  • Pressure builds slowly
  • Fault returns after warming up
  • Hydraulic fluid leakage

Accumulator Is Not The Only Cause

Internal leakage, pump wear, pressure sensor error, low voltage and valve-body faults can create similar behaviour.

Tests That Matter

Pressure rise, pressure decay, pump run time, pump current, supply voltage and leak inspection help identify the source.

Repair Considerations

A repair should address the confirmed failure and check whether excessive pump operation has caused secondary wear.

Workshop Takeaway

DSG faults should be diagnosed from the complete evidence: gearbox identity, fault history, electrical supply, hydraulic and clutch data, mechanical condition and the circumstances in which the problem occurs.
