The DQ250 is a six-speed wet-clutch DSG, commonly identified by the 02E or 0D9 family. It is used across many Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda and SEAT applications and requires the correct fluid-level procedure and filter servicing where specified.

A proper service uses the specified DSG fluid, suitable filter and seals, controlled filling procedure and temperature-based level setting. A scan and road test can help identify faults that should not be mistaken for a maintenance issue.

- Harsh or delayed Drive and Reverse engagement

Testing may separate clutch wear from hydraulic control problems, engine performance faults, flywheel movement and internal gearbox damage.
