Applicable Lamborghini models use the Lamborghini Doppia Frizione, commonly referred to as LDF, a high-performance seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Not every Lamborghini uses a dual-clutch gearbox, so model and transmission identification are essential.
Huracán-family vehicles use a dual-clutch LDF system, while some other Lamborghini models use an automated single-clutch ISR transmission. The diagnostic and repair processes are not interchangeable.
Common Concerns
- Transmission warnings or emergency mode
- Harsh engagement, clutch slip or overheating
- Intermittent loss of gears or no-drive
- Hydraulic, actuator, sensor or control faults
- Fluid leaks or driveline noise
Assessment Process
We first confirm the exact transmission, fault history and repair scope. Testing can include voltage and network checks, full-module scanning, live clutch and hydraulic data, actuator operation, oil condition and controlled road testing where appropriate.
