The DQ200 seven-speed dry-clutch DSG can suffer faults involving hydraulic pressure, the pump, accumulator, electronic control, power supply, gear selection and clutch operation. Many of these faults produce the same customer complaint: flashing PRNDS, no drive, loss of gears or emergency mode.
Why A Fault Code Is Not The Whole Diagnosis
A pressure-related code may be caused by an internal leak or accumulator problem, but voltage supply, pump operation, wiring and fluid leakage must also be considered. A communication code can be caused by a failed control unit, but it may also result from low system voltage, a damaged power feed, earth fault or CAN network issue.

Clutch Or Mechatronic?
