A transmission warning on a Ferrari or Lamborghini should not be diagnosed from the dashboard message alone. The cause may involve voltage, communication, hydraulic pressure, clutch control, sensors, actuators, temperature or internal damage.
Record Before Switching The Vehicle Off
- Photograph the complete warning message
- Note whether Drive, Reverse or particular gears remain available
- Record whether the fault occurred cold, hot or after low-speed driving
- Note any noise, leakage, smell or overheating indication
- Avoid clearing codes before the vehicle is scanned
Confirm The Transmission
Selected Ferrari vehicles use a dual-clutch system. Lamborghini Huracán-family models use LDF, while other models can use different automated transmission designs. The workshop must confirm the exact system before transport or repair planning.
